Taxpayer refund advance loans are available for $500 – $6,000. Customers have the choice to apply for $500 or 25% of their expected refund of up to $2,500 for no cost, or 50%/75% of their expected refund up to $6,000 which does have 36.0% APR interest. Loans are also available beginning January 2, 2019 (PreAcknowledgement). For interest-bearing loans, the amount of interest will vary depending on the number of days between approving the loan and when the refund(s) repay the loan, but the interest calculation is capped at 45 days. The loan amount is deducted from tax refunds reducing the amount paid to the taxpayer. Must apply for additional Refund Advance loan when filing with Kinsey Financial Services, LLC. Approval varies from customer to customer. You can be approved for a Refund Advance loan even if you do not have a credit history. Loan approval is subject to Metabank’s underwriting criteria that is based in part on the size of your tax refund.
